i'm sort of terrified and really sad following this episode and i can't really tell why.  can someone explain what happened and what i just saw?  

listen, you flisters (yes i'm spammy today but for good reason), daygloparker posted this incredible page culling some of the very the best doctor who moments from the first 3 years for people who've never watched but should.   so if you've been curious about the show that ate your own flist or just been wondering why i've been in serious love with both christopher eccleston and david tennant this year, then head on over and settle in for a nice watch.  brew a cup of tea even.  it is youtube heavy so takes a bit to load, but remember patience is a virtue.  and then bow at the marvelousness that is daygloparker.

i love how in every single episode of this series' doctor who, at one point or another, donna and the doctor have to say that they are not a couple.  it's kind of adorable and makes me love them even more.  also the aliens this go 'round are fabulous!

if you read doctor who fic and if you don't, why don't you?  (cause it's an amazing fandom with lovelylovely writers in it)  you must absolutely read lordshiva's (also known in these here parts as kalima) psycho savior, qu'est-ce c'est posted over at a teaspoon and an open mind.  her ninth doctor is just a whirlygig of wonderfulness and it takes place in portland!  so much the better.  oh i'm filled with love and awe at the moment.  woooohooooo.......

i think my darling nephew has generously given me some sort of wretched crud.  i'm hoping this wierd cough and metallic tang doesn't turn out to be more than just an icky cold.  but i have cancelled my work day and am in bed watching series 3 of the doctor.

in other news, i pretty much hate martha jones' hair and clothes (ooh and i can't stand her necklace) but i adore it when the doctor says "allons-y".  the frenchie in me gets all heureuse.

but i gotta say oh doctor i love you!!!
